Does day and time of application matter?
I have heard that applying on certain days increases your chances of getting an interview/call back or whatever. Is that true? My guess would be that it does not matter for BB like Citi JPM BofA etc, but was just curious if anyone has any insights.

GMAT + GRE or Just GRE for MBA/Masters Dual Degree
I've been trying to find a thread that relates to this, but haven't found a relevant one. I'm planning on pursuing a MBA dual degree with a masters in another field (leaning towards urban planning, but basically something that doesn't require the GMAT). The plus side with urban planning and some...

Wall Street Oasis Needs an iPhone App
I was wondering how come WSO has no iOS app? I am sure it would be widely used if it were to exist. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I'm on this site using Safari on iPhone, posting comments tends to be hassle. I would certainly use the WSO app if one were to exist, just my two cents.

Struggling to overcome bad undergraduate grades even with a masters.
I am in the UK and majority of large companies require a 2:1 in your undergraduate studies. They make you click a box which says you got above a 2:1. If you don't click it you can't pursue the application further. The thing is I am doing a masters degree in which I am on track for a...

Hiding previous applications
I had an interview at a top BB a while back and they had a list of the divisions to which I had applied to in previous years. I was wondering, is there a way to stop them from knowing? Do consulting firms fly you in for interviews if you're far from the target office?
I heard that they'll fly you across a couple of states if they're interested. What I'm wondering is if they'll fly you across the Atlantic as well... Only BCG and Mck have offices in my country but I'd like to have a plan B in case it's possible (I have US citizenship).

Is it bad to apply in so many forms?

Withdrawing application and reapplying?
So, I made a silly and stupid mistake on one of my online application forms (the supplement to OCR). I decided to withdraw my application and reapply with a different email address. Let's say for example you are applying to an intern position at a mid-sized firm. In terms of response rate, would it be better to apply via Doostang where it is listed, or is it better to send an email directly to the [email protected]? Basically, which option would allow your application to be...
