Is Bayes(Cass) still a semi target at undergrad level in 2023?

I’m currently a first year student who’s completed the year at Bayes(formerly Cass) Business School. I also now have the opportunity to transfer over to the University of Bath but I am struggling to see whether this would be advantageous or not in terms of prospects in IB. I didn’t get lucky with achieving any spring weeks this year and I fear the whole name change of the Business School a few years back may have some slight factor in this. I also worry that it may hinder me for SA roles next year. Therefore going to Bath would allow me to reapply for those with the experience I’ve had of the process and also is a semi target which means I would be more comfortable with my future prospects. However I would need to spend an extra year at uni as I’d be starting as a first year and so I’m trying to see whether Bayes (Cass) is still reputed as a semi target in the recruiting world or if I should go to Bath.

Hey timmyhoca1, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

Cass is not a semi-target, Bath is. Would recommend Business or Management if you have the opportunity. Placements at Bath are some of the best in the UK.

Agree on the above^. Believe that opinion that Cass is a target is outdated - but not impossible to break into boutiques from a search on linkedin.

I mean I keep on seeing loads of threads where people rank it as a lower semi, even more recent ones from 2020-23. Would you say it’s worth going off to Bath though?
